Application Enrollment 2012-13
After-School Classes
The WEE Center offers after-school enrichment classes Tuesday - Thursday from 2:00 -3:00 PM for children who are at least three years old and potty-trained. These classes promote physical activity and help develop interests in learning new things. Each session will run for six weeks and offers a different class daily.
You may sign your child up for a specific class for the entire session, much like taking a class through the county recreation program. The more days you sign up, the lower the cost per class. These classes are open to children outside the WEE Center, so tell your friends and come join the fun!
FEES:
One Time Enrollment Fee per student:$25
1 day a week per session: $50
2 days a week per session: $95
3 days a week per session: $135

After-School Classes
Books Alive Every week a different book will be featured as the children explore characters and plot to gain a better understanding of what books can teach us.
Multi Sport This class will give the children a chance to experience familiar and unfamiliar sports.
Art Works With an emphasis on different types of art and the famous artists that create, this class will give the children the opportunity to try their hands at new ways of expressing their ideas.
Creative Cooking This class of little chefs will experience the fun of creating delicious and healty snacks.
Vocab Rehab Want to strengthen your childs vocabulary? This is the class for him or her.
That's Science An exciting opportunity to participate in scientific experiments.
Moving and Grooving With an emphasis on body movement and self awareness, this class will let the children work off any excess energy they may still have after a busy school day.
One Letter Fun Day With an emphasis on letter sounds and pronunciation, this class will help children understand that symbols have meaning while they gain a love for literacy.
Rocking and Running This movement class will be accompanied by music allowing the children an outlet to express emotions physically while experiencing different genres of music.
Passport Pals As the weeks progress children will experience different destinations around the world through food, music and stories.
Magical Math This class will encourage a love of arithmetic while engaging the children in exciting math games and activities.
Amazing Authors Focusing on a different children’s author every week, this class will enhance the children’s appreciation of literature through related activities and experiences. |
